As a Senior UX Researcher at Tarjama, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences by spearheading research initiatives that influence product strategy, structure, and design decisions across diverse platforms. Your contributions will significantly impact the development of meaningful and user-friendly solutions for our clientele.

User Research Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive UX research throughout the product lifecycle, spanning discovery to post-launch phases, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Perform user interviews, usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations, among other necessary research techniques.
  • Undertake competitive and market analysis to pinpoint industry trends, user needs, and opportunities for product positioning.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and product teams to integrate behavioral data with research outcomes.

Insights & Design Guidance

  • Convert research findings into actionable insights, including personas, journey maps, information architecture, and recommendations to guide design and product development.
  • Direct the creation and validation of product information architecture, incorporating navigation structures, content organization, and user flows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work in conjunction with product managers, designers, and developers to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points across SaaS and POS systems, ensuring that user experiences are intuitive and aligned with business objectives.
  • Advocate for a user-centered approach within cross-functional teams.
  • Navigate a research roadmap, aligning it with product and business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Design, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX research, ideally within SaaS environments.
  • Extensive experience with various research methodologies (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, A/B testing, etc.).
  • Strong comprehension of the SaaS and POS product lifecycle and the role research plays at each stage.
  • Proven experience in designing and validating information architecture (e.g., via card sorting, tree testing).
  • Demonstrated capability to execute market and competitor analyses to bolster product strategy.
  • Experience working within agile environments alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in research and analysis tools such as Maze, Clarity, Hotjar, and Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to articulate complex research findings to stakeholders.
