We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant with substantial expertise in IT consulting or equivalent sectors. This position involves overseeing complete accounting cycles, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and providing management with precise financial data.

General Accounting & Reporting

  • Supervise the entire accounting cycle including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
  • Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) adhering to IFRS standards.
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes for consulting projects as per contractual obligations and project milestones.
  • Manage the fixed assets register and compute monthly depreciation.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit Zakat, VAT, WHT, and other tax returns in accordance with Saudi Arabian regulations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with SOCPA, GAZT, and various regulatory mandates.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, assisting with audit preparations by organizing schedules and necessary documentation.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Monitor vendor invoices and payments, alongside managing supplier reconciliations.
  • Handle client invoicing, collection follow-ups, and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of intercompany transactions and proper allocations.

Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial models.
  • Conduct variance analysis between budgeted figures and actual performance, delivering actionable insights.
  • Support management in analyzing costs and profitability for IT consulting initiatives.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Enhance and refine accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial policies.
  • Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to optimize automation and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Aid in ERP system implementations or upgrades (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of solid accounting experience, preferably within IT consulting or professional services.
  • Thorough understanding of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations (Zakat, VAT, WHT).
  • Expertise in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in financial documentation.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Professional certifications (SOCPA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) or progress towards one.
  • Experience in project-based accounting within consulting or IT services firms.
  • Background with Big 4 audit firms or multinational corporations.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both oral and written.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial reporting.

Preferred / Nice to Have
