Mechanical Engineer (construction)

Probuilder is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems across our building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other mechanical systems relevant to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Ensure mechanical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project designs.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion of mechanical work.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve any mechanical-related issues during construction.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing material and equipment specifications.
• Prepare project documentation including progress reports, as-built drawings, and operation & maintenance manuals.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction or contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design and implementation, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other mechanical design tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
