* We're specifically looking for a Solutions & Strategy, Senior Commercial Analyst (Consultant) who is already based in Saudi Arabia and comfortable working on-site in Al Khobar, Dammam. The role is scheduled to last at least a year*
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst (Consultant) who will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing cost analyses, and supporting the business case development for IT projects. This role will involve assessing the commercial viability of large-scale IT implementations and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization
As a Senior Commercial Analyst (Consultant) for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:
- Conduct detailed commercial analysis to assess the financial impact of IT projects and initiatives.
- Develop cost models, pricing strategies, and business case scenarios for IT implementations.
- Collaborate with the finance, procurement, and operations teams to prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
- Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to inform decision-making.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of vendors and partners based on financial criteria.
- Provide insights into cost optimization opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, including project P&Ls and ROI analyses.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend adjustments where necessary

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.
The annual salary range for this role is: $120,000- 150,000 USD annual salary, 1099 (you must be comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor, or via an LLC. This role does not include benefits).

You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Experience in commercial analysis, financial planning, or business analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with Hyperscaler Cloud Providers (e.g. AWS) pricing and commercial structures is a plus.
- Excellent proficiency with financial software and Excel.
You might also have:
- Experience with cloud pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP) and commercial frameworks.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
- Understanding of IT project lifecycles and how financials tie into delivery.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for financial reporting.
- Background in consulting or working across multiple business units in a matrixed organization.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and cost mitigation strategies.
- Experience with M&A, investment analysis, or strategic partnerships in the tech space.
