Officer - Procurement

The procurement officer will oversee the procurement process, from identifying needs to negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and researching potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, and selecting the best options for the organization's needs. 
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions, and managing contract renewals. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, fostering trust and collaboration, and addressing any issues that may arise. 
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring accurate information and timely delivery. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, ensuring compliance with company policies, and adhering to relevant regulations. 
  • Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing storage, and ensuring timely replenishment. 
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the procurement process. 

 

متطلبات الوظيفة

    •  3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Procurement function
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Supply Chain/ Material Management is required
