• Preparing the civil drawings time schedule for specified task after co-ordinate with junior & Senior Engineers, section head & project manager.
• Technical support for Subordinates (Including preparing & providing with reference material from similar project).
• Preparing and reviewing the design civil drawings and the calculation notes.
• Co-ordinate with other concerned department to be sure that co-ordination with other activities has been taken into consideration e.g. indoor lighting, fire detection, cable trenches, openings, HVAC, outdoor lighting, lighting pole foundations…etc.
• Regular site visits (if needed) to check and report work progress.
• Preparing a data base including samples from substation items e.g. control building, 66 kV building, cable trenches, transformer foundation, roads, foundations for outdoor equipment and gantries to be used when needed for civil design drawings.
• Co-ordinate with the Q.S engineer & Project Control Dep. For maintain the quantities below the budged BOQ as possible.
• Follow up with the design office at every design stage to be sure that the design criteria, optimization of design and the final bill of quantity will fall within the project budget. Drawings to be checked prior to issuing it to client for approval.
• Leading the design team for the optimum design of structural drawings.
• Conducting visits either to consultant or client where applicable for clarifications and expediting the approvals.
