Key Responsibilities:
- Design and innovate electrical systems encompassing power distribution, lighting, and control mechanisms.
- Carry out feasibility studies and draft specifications for electrical installations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct load calculations and determine equipment sizing in alignment with project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and analyze electrical systems to efficiently address issues.
- Guarantee all designs comply with applicable regulations and standards.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reports pertaining to projects.
- Support and mentor junior engineers and technical personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems and sustainable design practices is a plus.
