Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive JIRA Administrator to manage, configure, and support Jira across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that Jira workflows, permissions, and reports are aligned with business needs and best practices. This position is critical in supporting project delivery, enhancing collaboration, and enabling data-driven decisions across multiple departments within a major bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain custom workflows, screens, fields, and issue types to support various banking and IT processes.
- Configure workflow schemes, including transitions, conditions, validators, and post-functions.
- Manage user access: create, modify, and deactivate users; assign roles, groups, and project-level permissions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, gadgets, and custom reports to support business intelligence and portfolio tracking.
- Provide Jira training and functional guidance to users, including business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to align Jira with operational and strategic goals.
- Provide prompt support for Jira-related incidents, queries, and enhancement requests.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements or automation opportunities using Jira and related Atlassian tools.
- Ensure Jira configurations follow internal governance, security, and compliance requirements typical of banking environments.
