Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Officer to join our team in Jeddah. As an integral part of our operations, the Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Your role will be crucial in promoting health and safety standards in our manufacturing and warehouse facilities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees to enhance safety awareness and compliance.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on safety policies and procedures.
- Keep records of safety performance metrics and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety programs.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff regarding safety issues and initiatives.

متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar safety management role.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations in the MENA region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, driving safety initiatives forward.
- Certification in safety management (such as NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- 28 to 38 years old.
- Saudi national.
