700Apps is seeking an experienced Presales Engineer Consultant for Data Solutions to enhance our sales team and drive customer engagement. This position plays a critical role in understanding client needs and providing innovative data solutions that meet those requirements. You will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to conduct product demonstrations, craft solutions, and foster relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to assess their data requirements and present tailored data solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies and approaches for technical sales presentations.
- Demonstrate the functionality and benefits of data solutions through engaging presentations and technical demonstrations.
- Create comprehensive proposals and technical documentation to support presales activities.
- Provide expert advice on best practices related to data management, governance, and analytics.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and new technologies to provide clients with current solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding of our solutions.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales engineering, particularly in data or analytics solutions.
- Experience Data Management and Data Governance
- Data Engineering knowledge including: ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence
- DAMA frameworks and NDMO/PDPL standards CDMP Certification is preferred
- Deep understanding of data management, data analytics, and the associated technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of successful client engagement and meeting presales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including sales and technical staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and data virtualization tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel periodically to meet clients and attend industry events.
