This role is critical in leading the design and development of various innovative projects, ensuring that our creative vision translates into exceptional built environments that enhance the visitor experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of design processes, and a passion for creating impactful spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process for multiple projects across entertainment and leisure sectors, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's strategic vision.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to develop comprehensive and cohesive design solutions.
- Prepare and present design concepts, strategies, and proposals to stakeholders, securing necessary approvals while maintaining project alignment.
- Evaluate and critique design submissions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and aesthetic qualities.
- Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions, encouraging creativity and collaboration among team members.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure design delivery meets established goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design offerings.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, contractors, and vendors throughout the design and construction process.

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in design management, preferably within the real estate or entertainment industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of completed projects with impactful design elements.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept through completion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in design and architectural software.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sustainable design practices is highly desirable.
