Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy for gaming and esports venues, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's overall vision and brand identity.
- Lead a team of designers to create innovative and engaging spaces that cater to esports events, gaming experiences, and interactive environments.
- Collaborate with game developers, technology partners, and marketing teams to integrate cutting-edge technology and design elements into venues.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare design proposals and presentations, and engage with stakeholders for feedback and approval throughout the design process.
- Ensure that designs are functional, aesthetic, and adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Stay current with gaming and esports trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
- Mentor and develop the design team, promoting a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
- Manage external consultants and contractors to ensure effective project delivery and design execution.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring that milestones are met effectively.

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Game Design, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in design, with a focus on gaming, entertainment, or large-scale event environments.
- Proven experience in leading the design of gaming and esports venues or similar interactive spaces.
- Strong understanding of the gaming industry, trends, and consumer preferences.
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into engaging design solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring junior designers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to gaming and spatial design.
- Ability to manage multifaceted projects and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
