Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager - Road Design to join our ambitious team dedicated to developing a world-class entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of road infrastructure projects that will play a critical role in connecting various attractions within the Qiddiya site. Your expertise will be integral to creating efficient, safe, and sustainable road networks that enhance the overall visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the road design team, ensuring high-quality output that meets project specifications and deadlines.
- Develop comprehensive road design strategies and methodologies that align with Qiddiya's vision and objectives.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including urban planners, environmental specialists, and construction managers, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review and approve all design documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform the road design process and identify potential challenges.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making adjustments as necessary.
- Utilize innovative design techniques and sustainability principles to enhance the functionality and aesthetic of road projects.
- Foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and collaboration within the team and across project stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in road design and civil engineering, including leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale road design projects from concept through completion.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other engineering tools.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international road design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to navigate complex design challenges.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interface with a variety of stakeholders.
