Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director of Events & Tradeshows to lead the planning and execution of numerous high-profile events that showcase our innovative projects in the entertainment sector. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will develop and execute strategies that not only enhance brand visibility but also foster engagement among stakeholders, partners, and the larger community.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic vision and hands-on experience in managing large-scale events and tradeshows, ensuring the delivery of unforgettable experiences that align with Qiddiya's mission to revolutionize the recreational landscape in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Craft and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with both corporate objectives and market trends, optimizing Qiddiya's representation at tradeshows and events.
- Event Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize compelling event designs, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion, including brainstorming sessions, proposals, budgets, and stakeholder reviews.
- Execution & Logistics: Oversee logistics, venue selection, setup, and on-site management of events and exhibitions, ensuring compliance and operational excellence throughout.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations post-events to assess success metrics and gather insights for continuous improvement in future engagements.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies to incorporate innovative ideas into event planning processes.

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline required; an MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in event management, with a substantial focus on large-scale events and a leadership background.
- Demonstrated success in managing and executing high-impact events, preferably within the entertainment or real estate industry.
- Strong strategic planning capabilities, with a proven ability to meet and exceed business objectives and ensure ROI on events.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with stakeholders and foster relationships.
- Proficiency in using event management software and tools; strong analytical skills for measuring event effectiveness.
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in challenging situations.
