700Apps is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist who will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization’s data and technology infrastructure. In this leadership role, you will develop and implement security strategies, manage security incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will drive our cybersecurity initiatives and help cultivate a security-first culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage security vulnerabilities across all systems and applications.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security breaches and incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into business operations and projects.
- Train and mentor junior staff on security best practices and incident response procedures.
- Stay current on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to enhance security posture.
- Manage security audits and compliance efforts to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Develop incident response plans and lead investigations into security incidents.

متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on information security management.
- Strong expertise in security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, and encryption methods.
- Proven ability to analyze security incidents and develop effective remediation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present security-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
