700Apps is looking for a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to enhance our security framework by ensuring the effective management of user identities and access controls. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining IAM solutions that ensure the right individuals have appropriate access to technology resources while protecting sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage IAM policies, procedures, and technologies.
- Administer identity governance processes, including role-based access control and user provisioning.
- Monitor and analyze access logs to identify unauthorized access attempts and potential security threats.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.
- Advise on best practices for authentication, authorization, and federation to strengthen overall security posture.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to staff on IAM practices and tools.
- Stay updated on the latest IAM trends, technologies, and compliance regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related security roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in IAM technologies and tools (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure AD).
- Strong knowledge of authentication mechanisms, authorization models, and identity governance.
- Experience with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX.
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or similar) are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactively identify and resolve IAM-related issues and risks.
