700Apps is looking for a skilled Senior Load Balancing Systems Specialist to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of load balancing solutions that ensure optimal performance and availability of our applications. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing our infrastructure to support high traffic and peak usage scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement load balancing solutions across various environments to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to optimize load distribution and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve load balancing issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and align load balancing solutions with business needs.
- Provide support for capacity planning and scaling strategies to meet changing traffic demands.
- Develop and maintain documentation for load balancing configurations and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in load balancing and application delivery.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with load balancing technologies and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of application delivery controllers (ADCs) and load balancing architectures.
- Experience with technologies such as F5, NGINX, or HAProxy.
- Understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and configuration tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and present findings clearly.
- Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance metrics analysis.
