As the Assistant Manager - Technology Procurement, you will be pivotal in overseeing the procurement processes for technology-related products and services. This role demands a strategic approach to sourcing and contract management, ensuring that all procurement activities align with the company's broader objectives and comply with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy Implementation

  • Coordinate and lead procurement initiatives for technology needs, including drafting and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and negotiating vendor contracts.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of proposals from technology vendors, selecting suitable partners that meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and anticipate technology procurement needs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project timelines.
  • Continuously monitor and assess market trends in technology to mitigate risks and seize opportunities for value enhancement.

2. Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring consistency in service delivery.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Implement performance metrics for suppliers and suggest improvements when necessary.

3. Financial Oversight and Reporting

  • Monitor and manage budgets allocated for technology procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with overall financial strategies.
  • Develop and present regular reports detailing procurement activities, expenditures, and savings, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings within the technology procurement framework, optimizing resources effectively.

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within technology sectors or large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or additional certifications in procurement is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools is essential, such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing collaborative relationship-building across departments.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and local business customs is preferred.
