As a QA Performance & Automation Engineer you will be at the forefront of ensuring our software products meet the highest quality standards. You'll design, implement, and execute automated tests that empower us to deliver flawless experiences to our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Testing: Plan, set up and conduct performance testing via load, volume and stress testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of applications. Experience in tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter, or similar frameworks. The ability to analyse the results from the performance test and identify performance bottlenecks. Monitor application performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for all performance test features.
Test Automation: Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure rapid feedback on code performance.
Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they are configured correctly and available for testing.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Quality Metrics: Analyse test results and provide detailed reports on testing activities and quality metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications:
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a QA Performance Engineer or in a similar role.
· Experience in QA Automation or a similar role
· Strong knowledge of test performance and automation frameworks and tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
· Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
· Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
· Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
· Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
