As the Director - Cost Planning (20004898 CDU5) at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will play a key strategic role in the successful delivery of our ambitious projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cost planning professionals, enhancing their skills and driving a culture of excellence.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks across projects by closely monitoring costs and expenditures.
  • Provide expert financial advice to project managers and senior leadership, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cost planning efforts are integrated with overall project planning and execution.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and changes that impact construction costs, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Engage with external contractors and consultants to facilitate effective cost communication and management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is desirable.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in cost planning or financial management within the construction or real estate development sectors, with substantial experience in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing talent.
  • Proficient in cost management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Professional certifications such as RICS, AACE, or similar are advantageous.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
