Specific Responsibilities
Human Resources Manager for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Global Human Resources team at the company’s office at Khalda Petroleum Company, reporting to the "Business Support Director".
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Jointly manage the JV human resources function alongside a JV counterpart.
- Plan, develop, and drive the implementation of performance-based compensation, performance management system, talent management, succession planning, competency development, and overall staff training.
- Drive the development of a competent HR working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high-performance delivery by determining talent requirements, instilling values of integrity, providing leadership, coaching and guidance, and implementing internal successions
- Develop, review, and drive the implementation of relevant HR policies, procedures, and guidelines applicable to the company in accordance with the Labor Law in order to promote staff satisfaction, motivation & discipline and maintain a harmonious work environment among different categories of staff.
- Develop, recommend, and review salary administration, benefits, and compensation systems for the staff in the Company
- Improve Secondees Engagement & Affiliation, building capability for JV staff and secondees.
- Drive effective influencing strategies in the area of strategic resourcing and drive the company’s recruitment plan in order to optimize resources and ensure continuous supply of competent and motivated workforce to achieve business objectives.
- Assist in the development, review, and execution of the company's manpower plan and manage cost recovery related activities from the HR side
- Develop and implement distinctive mindset, behavior, and culture within the working team to achieve high performance and instill a high sense of commitment, ownership, integrity, and loyalty that will contribute to operational excellence.
- Build & maintain trusted relationships with the JV business counterparts /senior stakeholders while supporting them in improving the health and performance of the organization.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the human resource team; assist with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Develop and implement cohesive human resources information systems
- Work with internal communications on employee communications and ensure alignment
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Knowledge and experience which spans organization design and planning, talent development, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and human resources information systems
- Knowledge of JV structures and operations and how to influence multiple stakeholders in a JV environment.
- At least 12 years of progressive human resources experience working for and/or with large energy companies that have worldwide assets and operations;
- Must have prior experience in a human resources management role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, management, administrative, organizational, and leadership skills;
- Experience implementing sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate vision, set team goals, strengthen an organization, engage employees, build teams, and develop talent;
- Experience leading and managing high-performing teams that deliver strong results;
- An undergraduate degree from a competitive four-year college or university, with strong academic credentials;
